1. Introduction

PIAZ Software ApS, a company registered in Denmark with CVR number 46209877 ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the BabyReminder mobile application (the "App"). PIAZ Software ApS is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your child. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this document.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you set up and use the App, you may provide the following categories of information:

• Baby profile information: baby's name, date of birth, and gender
• Health-related information: feeding type (breastfeeding, formula, or both), delivery type (natural birth or C-section), premature birth status, NICU history, allergy risk level, and birth weight category
• Daily health tracking data: daily counts and timestamped individual care events for wet diapers, stools, and feedings, including breastfeeding side tracking (left/right) for nursing mothers
• Growth measurements (Premium): head circumference, weight, and length recordings with associated dates
• Custom reminders (Premium): titles, descriptions, and scheduling preferences you create
• App preferences: priority filter settings, hidden topics, postponed reminders, onboarding completion status, and local app usage counters (such as app start count, used to determine when to show onboarding guides and the in-app rating prompt)
• Growth measurements (Premium): xx
• Pink noise preferences: volume level, sleep timer duration, and whether you have acknowledged the audio safety notice. No audio is recorded; this data only reflects your playback settings.

2.2 Sensitive and Health-Related Information

Some of the information you enter into the App — such as health conditions, delivery type, premature birth status, NICU history, allergy risk, growth measurements, and daily care data — may be considered sensitive personal information or health data under applicable privacy laws (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, California Consumer Privacy Act, and state-specific health data privacy laws).

We treat all such information with heightened care. As described throughout this Policy, this information is stored exclusively on your device, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and we have no ability to access it.

2.3 Information We Receive from Third Parties

When you purchase a Premium subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store, we receive a purchase confirmation (receipt) from Apple or Google to verify your subscription status. This receipt does not contain your name, email, payment details, or billing address. We do not store this receipt on any server — it is validated locally on your device or through Apple's/Google's receipt validation services.

2.4 Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information.
• We do not collect your location data (precise or approximate).
• We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, cookies, pixels, or advertising services.
• We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or behavioral data.
• We do not collect biometric information.

2.5 Information Collected Automatically

The App does not automatically collect any information from your device. We do not use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, device fingerprinting, or any other tracking technologies.

3. How We Store Your Information

• Your data is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
• We do not operate any cloud services, databases, or servers that receive your data.
• We have no ability to access, read, or retrieve any data you enter into the App.

Device Backups

Your device's operating system may include App data in automatic backups (such as iCloud backups on iOS or Google Drive backups on Android). On Android, the App is configured to allow encrypted App data to be included in Android's automatic backup system (Google Drive backups), subject to your device's backup settings. If enabled, these backups may allow you to restore App data when setting up a new device or after a factory reset. However:

• Device backups are managed entirely by Apple or Google, respectively, and are subject to their own privacy policies.
• We cannot guarantee that App data will be included in or recoverable from device backups.
• Whether App data is preserved depends on your device's backup settings, which are your responsibility to configure and maintain.
• We have no control over, access to, or responsibility for device backups.

We strongly recommend that you enable automatic device backups and maintain your own independent records of any important health information tracked in the App.

No Cloud Sync or Data Transfer

The App does not offer cloud storage, cloud synchronization, data export, or any mechanism to transfer your data between devices. All data exists solely on the device where it was entered.

4. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used exclusively within the App on your device for the following purposes:

• Personalizing reminders: Your baby's profile and health conditions are used to filter and display age-appropriate, condition-relevant reminders.
• Tracking daily care: Diaper, stool, and feeding counts are stored to display your daily tracking progress and compare against age-appropriate guidelines.
• Growth monitoring (Premium): Measurements are stored to plot growth charts and calculate percentile positions based on WHO Child Growth Standards.
• Scheduling notifications: Your baby's birth date and profile are used to schedule local push notifications for relevant reminders and articles. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device — no data is sent to external notification services.
• Managing preferences: Your filter settings, hidden topics, and other preferences are stored to maintain your customized experience.

We process your information on the following lawful bases under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing of your baby's profile information and App preferences is necessary to provide the App's core functionality, as described in our Terms of Use.
• Explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)): Processing of sensitive health-related data (such as health conditions, delivery type, premature birth status, NICU history, allergy risk, growth measurements, and daily care data) is based on your explicit consent, which you provide by accepting this Privacy Policy during onboarding and by voluntarily entering this information into the App.

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of health-related data at any time by deleting your data or uninstalling the App. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Data Minimization

We collect only the information that is necessary to provide the App's core functionality. Each piece of information you provide serves a specific purpose — for example, your baby's birth date is needed to calculate age-appropriate reminders, and health conditions are needed to filter relevant topics. You are not required to provide any information that you do not wish to share; however, some features may not function correctly without certain data.

6. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Data

This applies to all categories of information described in this Policy, including health-related and sensitive information. Because all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, we have no data to sell or share.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 In-App Purchases

The App offers a Premium subscription processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. When you make a purchase:

• The transaction is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
• We do not collect or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.
• We receive only a purchase confirmation (receipt) to verify your subscription status.
• Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

7.2 External Links

The App contains links to external websites (such as medical reference sources). When you tap an external link, you leave the App and are subject to the privacy policy of the destination website. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or data collection of external websites. You access these sites at your own risk.

7.3 Voice Commands (Android)

On Android devices, the App supports Google Assistant voice commands (e.g., "Hey Google, add a pee in BabyReminder") to log daily care events. When you use a voice command:

• Your voice is processed by Google Assistant on Google's servers — the App does not receive, record, or process any voice audio.
• The App only receives a resulting deep link URL containing the care event type (e.g., "pee," "poop," or "feeding"). No personal data is included in or extracted from this URL.
• Google's collection and processing of your voice data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We have no access to or control over any data collected by Google Assistant.
• This feature is entirely optional. You do not need to use voice commands to use the App.

7.4 Feedback Form

The App includes a "Send Anonymous Feedback" option in the Settings screen, which opens an external Google Forms page in your device's browser. When you tap this link:

• The App does not send any personal data to Google. The only information pre-filled in the URL is the device platform (iOS or Android).
• The Google Form is configured not to collect email addresses. However, if you are signed into a Google account in your browser, Google may associate your visit with your account according to Google's own privacy practices.
• Any information you voluntarily type into the feedback form is submitted to Google Forms and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• We use feedback submissions solely to improve the App. We do not receive any personal identifying information through the feedback form.

7.5 In-App Rating Prompt

The App may prompt you to rate the App using your device's native in-app review mechanism (provided by Apple or Google). This prompt is handled entirely by the operating system. We do not receive or collect any data from the rating interaction.

7.6 No Other Third-Party Services

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, tracking, data brokerage, or behavioral profiling services. No third-party SDK or service within the App independently collects, stores, or transmits personal data about you. Interactions with Apple's or Google's billing, review, and voice assistant services are handled by the device's operating system and are subject to their respective privacy policies.

8. Children's Privacy

BabyReminder is designed for use by parents and caregivers to track information about their children. We take children's privacy seriously.

• The App collects information about children (baby's name, birth date, gender, health conditions, and growth measurements) as provided by their parent or caregiver.
• This information is stored only on the parent's or caregiver's device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
• We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. The App is intended to be used exclusively by adults (parents and caregivers) who are at least 18 years of age (or the applicable age of majority in their jurisdiction).
• Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us, we do not have access to any child's personal information.
• We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it relates to children's data, and other applicable children's privacy laws.

9. Notifications

The App uses local push notifications to deliver reminders and article suggestions. These notifications are:

• Scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by the operating system.
• Not sent through any external or remote push notification service.
• Based on your baby's birth date and profile to ensure relevance.
• Controllable through your device's notification settings — you can disable them at any time.

No data is sent to Apple, Google, or any other party when notifications are scheduled or delivered.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• You have full control over your data at all times.
• You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App from your device.
• You can reset your baby's profile from within the App's Settings screen.
• You can delete individual growth measurements from within the Growth Tracking screen.
• We have no ability to retain your data after you delete the App, because we never had access to it.
• We do not maintain any backup, copy, or record of your data on any server or system.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

• All App data is stored using encrypted on-device storage (Expo SecureStore), which leverages the platform's native encryption capabilities (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).
• No data is transmitted over the internet, eliminating the risk of interception during transmission.
• We do not store any of your data on servers, eliminating the risk of server-side data breaches.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your device.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. Because the App stores all data locally on your device, many of these rights are inherently fulfilled:

• Right to know / Right to access: You can view all your data directly within the App at any time. We do not hold any of your data on our systems.
• Right to rectification: You can edit your baby's profile and correct any information through the App's Settings screen.
• Right to erasure / Right to delete: You can delete your data by uninstalling the App or resetting your profile within the App.
• Right to data portability: Your data is stored locally on your device and is already in your possession. However, the App does not currently offer a data export feature in a structured, machine-readable format. Because we never receive or store your data on our systems, we are unable to provide a data export on our end.
• Right to withdraw consent: You can withdraw your consent to data processing at any time by deleting your data or uninstalling the App.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information. There is no data sale or sharing to opt out of.
• Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
• Right to object to processing: You can stop all data processing by the App at any time by uninstalling it.

Since we do not collect, store, or process your data on any server, we are unable to respond to individual data access requests — your data simply does not exist on our systems. If you have questions about exercising your rights, please contact us.

13. Residents of Specific Jurisdictions

13.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the lawful bases for our processing of your information are: (a) performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) for core App functionality, and (b) explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)) for the processing of sensitive health-related data. You may withdraw your consent to health data processing at any time by deleting your data or uninstalling the App. Because no data is transmitted outside your device, no international data transfers occur.

If you have an unresolved privacy concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

13.2 California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under California law. We do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because all data is stored locally on your device, we have no personal information about you on our systems.

13.3 Consumer Health Data — Washington and Nevada Residents

Washington state's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data privacy law provide additional protections for consumer health data. The App processes health-related data (such as health conditions, growth measurements, and daily care tracking) exclusively on your device. This data is never collected by, transmitted to, or accessible by PIAZ Software or any third party. We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose consumer health data.

13.4 Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others) may have additional rights. Because the App does not transmit your data to our servers or any third party, the local-only architecture of the App inherently satisfies the core requirements of these laws. 14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will be revised.
• For material changes, we will notify you through the App or require re-acceptance.
• We will attempt to provide notice of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
